Spanish Lessons for Teens
Our Spanish courses for teenagers are oriented towards students in secondary school interested in learning Spanish with an interactive yet methodic approach.
Based on their age, 10 to 12 years or 13 to 16 years old, students will use a different book series to suit their age. And, if students have previous knowledge of the Spanish language, they will use the intermediate level of the book series.
Our expert, native and qualified Spanish teachers will guide each student through the language acquisition process while exploring the Spanish culture. Furthermore, as all lessons are private, the teacher can ensure the student understands every concept.
Our immersion method will also prepare students to take the most common exams in Singapore. You can learn more about Spanish exams here.

After many years of teaching, we have discovered that the most effective and efficient way to learn Spanish is in a private or semi-private class. Learning a new language requires a lot of practice and interaction. So only by recreating real-life situations and pushing students to listen, speak and interact can they successfully master a language. That is why we teach on a private or semi-private basis only. Like this, we can guarantee the quality of our lessons and make sure each student is progressing adequately.
In the first stage, those who have never learned Spanish before will acquire the language basics, primarily focusing on listening, speaking, reading, writing, and basic grammar. Some beginners contents include self-introduction, the family, describing people, the school, the house (including rooms and objects at home), the neighbourhood (including different shops and places), time, hobbies, daily routine and food.
To achieve the complete A1 level (separated into smaller sublevels A1.1, A1.2 A.1.3 and A.1.4), a teenager will need around 100 hours. Once a student has completed the whole A1 level, they can aim to pass the DELE exam (Diploma of Spanish as a Foreign Language). The exam is optional, but it is good to certify your Spanish proficiency.
The content we teach follows those required to pass the official Spanish exams. Therefore, you will be sure to qualify and pass your desired exam after taking our course. If you do not wish to take an exam at this stage, you can progress to the intermediate level, where you will continue to develop your Spanish skills.
At an intermediate level, you will learn all about new topics like living a healthy lifestyle, shopping, and how to express yourself in all tenses, including different types of past, future and conditional.
In our private online one-to-one lessons, students are under the individual supervision of their assigned teacher. This approach also allows students to progress quickly and confidently while receiving all attention they require. Furthermore, the teacher can focus on specific student weaknesses and create the continuous positive interaction necessary for effective language learning.
If you have specific needs (for example, your child needs to cover a particular syllabus from school at a given time), do not hesitate to contact us and let us know.
